Night Market Terms and Conditions

By filling out this vendor registration form and making payment, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

  1. Event Details: The 2018 Stamford Boutique Night Market will take place at the Stamford Winter Wonderland Festival on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Stamford American International School Woodleigh Campus. 
  2. Registration & Payment: Registration and payment can only be done via the Vendor Registration page. Registration is considered complete only after payment has been confirmed by event organizers.
  3. Cancellation Policy: 
    • Cancellation of bookings on or before November 7, 2018 will be entitled up to 100% refund.
    • Cancellation of booking between November 7 and November 14, 2018, will be entitled up to 50% refund.
    • Cancellations of bookings after November 14, 2018 will not be entitled to a refund.
  4. Rental Space Allocation: Event space allocation will be approx 4ft x 8ft. Rental Space allocation will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Stamford Christmas Committee (SCC) reserves the right to allocate and reallocate spaces as required at any time and such changes will be purely at the discretion of the SCC.
  5. Tables and Displays: One table measuring approx 2ft x 6ft will be provided with the registration fee. Vendors may bring in their own items of furniture only with the prior agreement of the SCC. Any fixtures shall not exceed 5ft in height. Any damage caused by furniture or items brought in by vendors shall be the express responsibility of the vendor, who will be responsible for bearing costs to rectify any damage or loss caused by said items. Vendors are asked not encroach on their neighbors’ space Blu Tack or tape of any kind are not allowed on the walls.
  6. Tall Items: If you plan to bring clothing racks or changing room curtains or anything that will block the view, we request you tell us in advance so we can place you accordingly. Charges may apply for extra space.
  7. Set Up: Vendors will be allowed on Campus on the day of the Christmas Fair from 2:00 pm. Set up to be finished by 3.45 pm.
  8. Pack Up will start only at 8.00 pm, and must be completed by 9:00 pm on the day of the event. Please do not pack up early – it ruins the atmosphere of the event for other vendors and shoppers.
  9. Clean Up: Vendors are responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness of their assigned areas and for removal of all their rubbish, boxes and packaging after the event. Failure to do so may result in denial of participation in future events.
  10. Music: No music shall be played by any vendor throughout the duration of the Christmas Fair.
  11. Food: No food is to be consumed in the Market Venue (Stamford Arena). If you bring food from home, please ensure you eat this outside the arena. There will be food and beverages open for purchases. If your products include food, please ensure they are packaged for later consumption and strictly NO NUTS are to be in the ingredients.
  12. Parking: There is a carpark on campus, but we highly recommend you to use alternate parking on the day of the event, as this will limit the parking availability for Festival attendees. If you do park on campus, you will be required to submit your car registration to SCC before the day of the event.
  13. Laws and Regulations: The conduct of the vendor and any associated promotional activities in the promotional space must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, directives, and notices of all relevant authorities. The SCC reserves the right to withdraw a vendor’s participation at this and future events in such a situation.
  14. Permitted Products: Please ensure items are suitable for ALL ages and for a Christmas Market. There will be no sale of illegal goods, items morally offensive in nature. Items brought into the promotional area must not infringe on the intellectual property rights or any rights of any other third party.
  15. Insurance and Liability: Vendors may wish to insure their own products.
